Spyware Detective is free to download, and has a 15-day trial version. The only draw back with the trial version (often times called unregistered version), it only scans the system for spyware infections. Unregistered versions of Spyware Detective cannot remove infections. In addition, the definition update with the unregistered version of Spyware Detective is disabled.
