When you open the program it will automatically begin scanning your system searching for potential problem registry entries. As the program performs the scan you are shown any problem entries it finds.
Once the scan is complete you are given comprehensive scan results. The program splits these results in to several sections such as application paths, start menu shortcuts etc that give you more details about each problem registry entry found. You can no choose if you want Registry Genius to take care of these problem regsitry files and have them deleted automatically by the program, or you can remove them manually yourself.
Registry Genius has a number of other features including the BHO manager. BHO stands for Browser Helper Objects, these are objects that are loaded when you first launch Internet Explorer and many of them aren’t needed which can cause browser slowdowns. Another useful feature of Registry Genius is the backup and restore feature for Internet Explorer. This will be a great help if your browser should ever be taken over by spyware. Registry Genius also comes with a backup and restore feature so if the program should end up deleting an important registry file you can simply load up the backup and restore your system to its previous state.
