RegCure is one of the popular registry cleaner tools available on the internet developed by the team at Paretologic. It has won numerous awards and received many accolades for it’s ease of use and effectiveness. In fact, I was impressed with RegCure at first time in terms of user experience. I mean it has very nice GUI, easy to understandable options and easily navigable buttons. Now let’s first checked all five main navigation buttons of the software.

The first section of RegCure main interface is “Scan” button. You start in the Scan area with a list of 11 different registry items that can be scanned for including uninstall entries, font entries, shared dlls, application paths and help files information. There are three basic steps in scan process. You need to select the components in the first step. If you want know detailed description of the each components then just move your mouse cursor over the component name and you will find description in detailed description box. Second step is to start the scan just by clicking on ‘Start Scan’ button. After you complete the scan process, the third step you actually fix the errors. If you are an advanced user and want to ignore some registry fix, you can do that also manually.
In “Setting” section of RegCure, you will find different software settings. There are options about automatic update, automatic repair and automatic download updates. In the setting area of RegCure you can select to have system restore points created, This is a good idea in case there are any problems caused by accidental registry deletions. You can also setup an ignore list so you can guarantee that any registry items on the ignore list won’t be deleted. Plus you can scheldue your registry scans to be performed daily, weekly or monthly and include a start time. So what not scan your registry while you are fast asleep even.
In “Backup” section of RegCure, you will find a list of restored points if you have selected to restore before repairing. You can always restore to the previous state, using this restore points. Then in the fourth section, “Manage Startup” button will let you mange your pc’s start up programs. You can always enable and disable programs to run at start up time. This is one area that can affect computer performance greatly as many programs you don’t want to use can be loaded as soon as you start up your computer without you knowledge or permission and this can be a big drain on performance. And in the last “Result” section, you will find result report of last scan and fix errors.
In our opinion, RegCure is one of the best registry cleaner programs available. It offers a free scan so you can try out their program. We recommend getting the full version, but you may download the program and run a scan for free. The cost is not prohibitive, and could potentially save you from hassle that comes with dealing with a sluggish, crashing computer. I found some people have complaints about RegCure software and support, but compare to good reviews they were very small. And there are always complaints about good product, no matter how good it is.
