Professional in design, Error Killer has an elegant, brushed-metal interface with self-explanatory icons and straightforward options which is designed to fix may problems with just “one-click”. It will find errors on your computer and your computer’s registry, and allow you to fix these errors efficiently. ErrorKiller features many of the things you would expect from a registry cleaner program, and a few nice little extras which give the software more functionality. Firstly, it features the ability to scan your registry for errors, back up previous registry configurations. You can scan your computer’s Registry for 14 types of problems, including invalid application paths, bad file associations, and faulty system services.
Its useful Startup Manager feature which allows you to choose which programs load when your computer starts up. ErrorKiller includes a tool for backing up the Registry multiple times, though the help files failed to work in our tests. We do like some of the application’s extra features, including those for managing browser-helper objects and programs that launch on start-up.
ErrorKiller is a small download of 1.9mb. Installation was very straight forward. The support available for users of ErrorKiller is fairly basic, but it gets the job done. As you can see by the screenshots shown below, Error Killer is a fairly basic, yet intuitive design which should see you freely navigating its various functions with little hassle.
